Bandera fell 16-7 to La Vernia tonight in their varsity football season opener.

Reportedly Bulldog QB Cole Hubble broke his nose in the game. He left with trainer Mary Bolan in the second quarter after taking a blow to the face. He scored Bandera’s only TD in the game on a long breakaway run.

The Bandera Lady Bulldogs varsity volleyball squad did not fare too well against the Llano Lady Yellowjackets tonight, Aug. 25,  losing in three sets.

It was great to get out and shoot some Bandera volleyball, though! The action was great and volleyball is always one of my favorite sports to photograph.

Football Season Ticket Information
Current season ticket holders may pick up their tickets at the Bandera ISD Business Office located at 815 Pecan Street on the following dates:

July 20 – July 24 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

July 27 – July 30 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The general public can purchase season tickets starting on August 3rd from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Cost of the seats are $40.00 (5 home games). For additional information please contact 796-3774 for more information.

We had a lot of fun shooting with Deana and Travis’ girls from the Bandera Athletic Academy last night at the Flying L Guest Ranch. The girls were great in front of the camera and wonderful performers at their show.

The Bandera Bulldogs baseball playoff game tonight was rescheduled due to rain flooding the field.

Coach Vossen tried to find another venue, but nothing was available on short notice.

The UIL has rescheduled the game for Monday night, 7 pm, same location.

The Dogs will play vs. Sinton at San Antonio’s Northside ISD Gustafson Stadium on Saturday, May 23, at 7 p.m. Google Maps directions here.

7:28 – Medina 0, Charlotte 0, third inning

Game 2 tomorrow (Saturday) at Devine, 11 am start. The Medina Bobcats were knocked out of the playoffs after an 8-6 loss to Charlotte on May 16.
